Airfield Industrial Estate
This former WW2 airfield is now an industrial estate on the south side of Ashbourne. It contains a wide variety of businesses both mainstream and niche.
It is currently undergoing a massive expansion to include industry, housing and retail, so there are lots of exciting changes to look forward to.
The surrounding fields still include gun emplacements and other wartime remains that can be seen from many of the local public footpaths.
