The Ashbourne recycling centre and tip for disposal of household waste is next the cemetery and allotments on Mayfield Road.
There are facilities for green waste, paper & card, glass, metals, soil & rubble and more. Anything in condition can be left in a separate area and the staff will consider whether it can be passed on for re-use.
The site is operated by Veolia. on behalf of Derbyshire county council.
