Christmas lights switch-on

See Ashbourne come to life with sparkling Christmas Illuminations on Saturday 16th November in the Market Place.
Festive music and entertainment from 4.00pm with street entertainers on hand to delight everyone. Santa and his Elves are this year's theme and the man himself is bringing elf acrobats, hula hoopers, bouncy stilt walkers, LED selfie frame and elves distributing free candy canes to children as the perfect opener to the festive season. The countdown to switch on is at 5:30.
A Christmas Craft Fair in the Town Hall (from 10am) provides the perfect opportunity to start your Christmas shopping and the museum will be open.
Ashbourne Christmas lights are organised by Ashbourne Town Council and paid for by the residents of Ashbourne parish.
