Beacon @ 9:30
It is the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Ashbourne is joining in a national celebration whereby beacons will be lit across the country. There will be a short service and a piper will play.
This is a very short event so please arrive promptly by 9:15pm.
The beacon will be lit at 9:30pm.
Find the beacon in Fishpond Meadow, just across the road from Shawcroft car park.
