Public playgrounds

Ashbourne has lots of places where you can take the kids to play, with equipment provided and maintained by Derbyshire Dales District Council.

The main playground is in the recreation grounds with all the equipment you would expect plus an interactive water play zone for those hot summer days.

There is also a large playground in Clifton village.

Several of the housing estates also have a play area, with a smaller range of equipment but plenty of space to kick a football.
